Of the 3 incumbents running for re-election in November, I'm the only challenger. Two of the three are running unopposed and all three are backed by the unions.

School Board races are big business. Just take a look at how much the unions spent on their 2 candidates running for San Diego Unified School Board seats in 2022.

The same was true when I ran in 2020. Voice of San Diego reported that the unions were spending significant sums on their candidates.

With low test scores, budget deficits, and a lack of focus on student success, SDUSD needs change!
